I have a model in autocad 2004 that has over 70pages. To print them on my laser printer I make layout from every page and that I print the layout. Is there any shorter way to print all pages from the model, or to export all of them in.pdf.jpg or something. Our client wants to archive all drawings they received into their system. We are using Revit 2013 and they need AutoCAD 2000 and all content to be in model space. The problem is, when we export to cad, the Model itself is in model space and Titleblock in paper space. We try to use CHSpace and move items to model space, but the layout of the. In AutoCAD, we draw in 1:1 in model space with our (pre)defined units. The paper space where we create layouts is set to millimeters, and the scale used in the paper space is calculated based on a factoring number between the model and paper space. Basically, we don’t need to worry about custom scales, we can just zoom to scale in the drawing.
Page Setups and custom DWG properties (DWGPROPS command) are deleted by Autodesk AutoCAD in the process as the WBLOCK command is being used in the app. To retain these use the app available on Autodesk App Store that has the option to instead use SAVEAS.
